Styrian specialities

“Living, thinking & working across generations” – this has always been our family’s guiding principle. For three generations now, guests have been enjoying good food, friendly chats, and a glass or two of wine in a sociable atmosphere at our Buschenschank in Maierhofbergen.

The region surrounding our winery is a true paradise for food lovers – and this diversity is reflected on our plates. From savory Vulcano ham and fine game specialties to carefully selected delicacies, we focus on high-quality, regional products. Cheese lovers will also be delighted with refined specialties from the organic farm dairy Deutschmann, Milchhof Krenn, or fresh sheep’s cheese from Biohof Borckenstein.

Of course, we also cater to our vegetarian and vegan guests: from our winemaker’s salad with marinated tofu, to “Styrian hummus” on farmhouse bread, and the Buschenschank classic – Styrian scarlet runner beans with pumpkin seed oil.
